Description
Medium: Fine Art Canvas Giclée Print of an Original Oil Painting (2025)
This oil painting beautifully captures a profound moment of divine rescue. Jesus Christ is depicted underwater, fully immersed yet radiant, reaching out with a strong and compassionate hand toward someone drowning. His expression is one of joy, peace, and unwavering love—a smile that radiates reassurance and hope. His eyes are locked on the viewer, full of life and promise, inviting trust and surrender.
His outstretched hand is not only extended in help, but marked by the faint trace of a cross—symbolizing the price He paid to save. The viewer can almost feel the motion of the water around Him, filled with air bubbles and light, giving the scene a sense of movement and urgency. Yet, amidst the chaos, Jesus remains calm and powerful—completely focused on the one He came to save.
This image powerfully conveys the message of salvation: that Jesus doesn't hesitate to dive into the depths of our struggles, sins, and despair. He delights in rescuing us. It is not a burden to Him—it is His joy. This painting visualizes the heart of Romans 10:13, “For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.”
